Software Engineer Supply Chain
Your mission
As an Software Engineer Supply Chain you are a part of IT landscape that provides ample opportunities for innovation and problem-solving. you are responsible for
- Provide key supply chain planners and management with a strong, flexible S&OP and Tactical planning tool using OMP+ software and custom models.
- Discuss and implement abstract modeling with management and experts.
- Improve and expand the application portfolio and Promote the solution within group.
- Capture new needs and functionality through documentation, legacy applications, and client/business interactions
- Support software application testing to ensure high quality and project requirement compliance. Collaborate with, guide, and steer an offshore testing team.
Your experience
- Master Mathematics or Software or IT
- Experience in C++, python, object-oriented programming language
- Knowledge of sales and operations planning in the steel industry is a plus.
- Understanding the supply chain and production steps in steelmaking is valuable
- Capable of working effectively in a team environment. Resilient under stress. Flexible team player.
- Fluent in English and Dutch is a plus
